PIFMC, the Palestine International Forum for Media and Communication has announced earlier today the top 10 nominations for the “Media Creativity Award for Palestine“. According to the award policies, the top 10 nominations will be competing for three prizes; whereas another competition will run for public voting later on.

The winning nominations alongside the public choice will be announced and presented at a special event to be held in conjunction with the Tawasul III, PIFMC 3rd biennial conference scheduled on November 2018. The prizes will be $ 15,000, $ 10,000 and $ 5,000 for the first, second and third places respectively.

The “Media Creativity Award for Palestine” was launched on 22 July 2017 in Beirut, in conjunction with the 30th anniversary of the assassination of the Palestinian cartoonist Naji Al Ali.

It should be noted that this is the first edition of this award, in which more than 300 media works have participated in, categorized into individuals and teams, freelances or working in media organizations, research or academic institutions, or civil and international civil society organizations.
